Gift Jewelries For Friends

These are all given as gifts to a friend and her daughter. There were other jewelries sent in the mail as well, but I'm pretty sure I already blogged about them before.

Don't worry, bead happy!

Inspiration Challenge By Tamara

A beady e-friend hosted a challenge at Beading Daily, in which I had to participate. The rule is to take a photo of anything inside or outside the house that inspires you. Well, this challenge comes easy for me as I love taking photos for inspiration, particularly for colors.
I already blogged about these trees... photo was taken after a severe ice storm, wherein all the trees outside had ice crystals afterwards.
And here are the earrings I made that resembles the icy leaves.
I had to whip up this necklace as well since the colors in the photo appeals to me.
Don't worry, bead happy everybody!

Necklace Swap Cycle 2

Another beady e-friend, Lina, organizes a regular swap at Beading Daily. My partners for cycle 2 are Moira and Andrea. Mailing due date was May 1st, 2010.

My recipient was Moira, and per her profile, she loves anything that sparkles. So I made her a necklace using chinese crystal rondelles with tube beads as spacers. I wrapped the second link to the first to form a twist. I also made simple matching earrings.
And Andrea sent me this fabulous necklace... in one of my fave color combo. I love it and worn it a lot of times already. Thanks so much Andrea!

I think I have to confess that I'm as addicted to beading as swapping and challenges! I hope you'll participate on swaps as well. It's really so much FUN!

Wanna see collage pages of the swaps and challenges I'm into? Go to my other blog and let me know what you think!

Don't worry, bead happy!

Jewelry Gifts For Family

Time flies so fast, and summer is definitely kicking in here in our part of the world. One thing I love about Iowa is, we have the REAL four seasons. LOL When it's winter, snow are all over... I love spring as much as autumn, gives me hope as flowers and greens have a new life. It makes me a lil' sad to see trees without leaves during wintertime. When summer comes, you can really feel the heat... but among all the seasons, I love autumn when it comes to colors!
Here are some simple jewelries I made as gifts for family!
Bracelet for MIL
Necklace for MIL
Necklace for Aunt R. (MIL's sister)
I hope everybody's having a great beading day!
